From slapping the knees at 6 years old to thumping the tubs today, the journey never ends and it never should! Born in the south of the UK, it has always been pretty clear drums is just about all there is and being in a band is just about the best way to live. The decade spanning journey has led to becoming best known as the drummer for Mother Vulture, described by Classic Rock Magazine as ‘Easily one of the most physical, explosive bands in rock today’ gracing stages across the UK and Europe with the Turbo-rock 4-piece. The sticks can also be found lent to iTunes chart topping country singer/songwriter Taynee Lord, as part of the touring band. The chase of the dream is always on.
Where it is the biggest pleasure in the world to work on musical ventures that I adore with people very close to my heart, there will always be space for more.My craft is a blend of indie and rock drumming influenced by the cleverness and creative part writing by Ringo and Jose Passilas (Incubus) and the power, depth and solidity of Ian Matthews (Kasabian), Zak Starkey (The Who/Oasis) and of course Bonham…the list goes on…so, if you are after real, powerful, punchy and decisive drum parts for your music, or a spark for your live show, covers or original, then look no further. I am enormously proud to be the recorded drummer for all of Mother Vulture and Taynee Lords albums and EP’s. I have spent years trailing UK studios with some real bucket list rooms such as Abbey Road and Rockfield. I am excited to see more along the journey!
